Dual Core CPU Ballast

What is dual-core CPU ballast?
Dual-core processor intergrates two IC chips and each IC with independent cache and execution unit so as to improve the count capability. Its concept was proposed by IBM, HP and Sun such high-end servers manufacturers who support RISC architectures at first and be used with computer servers. With the promotion of Intel and AMD, dual-core processor is very popular with desktops and loptops.
Carviton(China) enterprise make full use of dual-core CPU processor to HID industry initiatively. With imported main components, circuit controled by dual-core CPU, and seperately high voltage and low voltage lines designs, our HID have better characters such as initiative five protect fuctions including low voltage protect, high voltage protect, short circuit protect, high circuit protect and polarity protect, special high voltage transformer design, anti jamming and EMC interference system inside and so on, more stable, lower consumption and longer lifespan.

What is five protect system?
Low voltage protect:
In order to prevent battery run out that the car can start as normal, ballast will stop working automatically when the battery power is below 7.5V.
High voltage protect:
In order to prevent high voltage burn other device of car and let the driver realize there is battery fault soon, ballast will stop working automatically when the battery power is above 16V.
Output short circuit, open circuit protect:
When accident or short circuit, open circuit(lamps no work) happened, ballast cut off the circuit and stop working immediately to prevent electric shock or risk of tank explosion and keep the driver safe.
Polarity protect:
Even the installer did not pay attention on the "+" "-" sign on power jack and contact it inversed, ballast will have no any damage.
